  • Looking to get out of our comfort zone - have you had your fill of Kayon Mountain yet? - we brought in samples from a number of origins we don't often source. This Java immediately went to the top of the board. The balance and complexity - tropical fruit supported by sweet tamarind tones - is impressive. Devotees know we have not sourced much from Java in recent years, so this was a fun coffee to work with. This particular lot comes from the highest portion of Riunggunung Estate. So high, in fact, that cold evenings can potentially frost over, wrecking production.
