  • We sampled countless Kenyan coffees this cycle searching for the very best. But we kept coming back to these beans from Nyeri Hill Estate. The subtle citrus notes are remarkably balanced and unimposing. You will taste a very pleasant peach augmented by a touch of mango and mandarin orange. If you enjoy citrus, this is a great cup!

Kenyans may prefer tea to coffee but don't tell Nyeri Hill Estate! One of the leading farms in Kenya, Nyeri Hill first planted seeds in 1914. These days the estate farms over 300 hectares and employs over 300 community members in Nyeri County. The farm focuses strongly on sustainability both in farming practices and in empowering the community. A percentage of profits are allocated to Nyeri High School, Kamwenja Teacher College, and Mathari Mission Hospital.
