We always carry an everyday "workhorse" Colombian coffee but make no mistake - this is a showhorse as well! The tropical fruit meshes with deeper chocolate and pecan tones to create a vibrant yet balanced cup.
But this coffee is more than delicious! It comes from the Asociación de Caficultores Ecológicos del Cauca (ACEC), a community of 500 producers which produces coffee in an environmentally and socially conscious way. That is obviously important for humans, but also important for the more than 1200 bird species who live in the Cauca River region, including some awfully rare ones like the Cauca guan. Great coffee and great birds. What's not to love?
