  • Community lots can produce outstanding coffee, especially from an all-star origin like Colombia. We're always on the lookout for a workhorse, versatile Colombian and this one fits the bill. These lots are expected to have a balance of sweetness, a hint of fruit, and a foundation of cocoa and/or toffee. Traceable to Cauca, this is a  blend of coffees from between 10–30 smallholder farmers. We're tasting a very balanced cup - nectarine and apricot shine here before finishing up with chocolate/almond. Sometimes lots like this have some flaws that make them more appealing as blender coffees - but we love the way these flavors balance.
