Vista Al Bosque translates to "overlooking the forest." An apt name for this scenic lot sitting on the ridge of a valley. Hoja Blanca was always the goal for Wilmar Castillo, a coffee producing lifer who moved into the area 14 years ago. Wilmar manages the land with his wife and son, while his brother operates the adjacent lot. Having worked in coffee throughout Huehuetenango his entire life, Wilmar was well prepared to manage his own land and that experience shows in this cup. We're tasting plenty of apple, caramel, and nut butter, as well as some well intriguing citrus. Vista Al Bosque is a great, classic, Guatemalan cup.
