  • Kenyan arrival season is eagerly awaited throughout the specialty coffee industry and, here at Roadmap, things are no different. We probably cupped 10-15 Kenyan coffees and this was our favorite. Peach is the star here but don't miss the deeper tones of caramel, brown sugar, and cooked fruit. Incredibly well balanced and complex, we're finding something new with every sip.

200 community workers gather daily to harvest, wash, and sort the 180 tons of coffee that Ibonia exports each year. The reddish-brown soil, known as Kikuyu Ioam, plays an important role in cup quality and the estate leaders place heavy emphasis on soil conservation.
