  • We do everything well here at Roadmap but we might do Kenyan coffee best. This offering is our latest and greatest. We're tasting golden pear, grapefruit, peach, mango, and pomegranate, supported by a sweet, sweet molasses. If you enjoy Kenyan coffee - and we realize it can be polarizing - this is a nice example.

The beans come from Kiamabara Coffee Factory in Nyeri. Kiamabara boasts around 3,000 active members and each member has on average around half a hectare of land for coffee growing alongside macadamia, beans, bananas, and maize. Members source seeds from the Coffee Research Institute, a physical manifestation of Kenya's long history into coffee research. Technical advice is offered through farmer training programs and field visits/days offered by the Ministry of Agriculture. Seeing a pattern? The Kenyan government is very involved in the coffee industry.
